James L. March has served the people of the great state of Texas, his family, and his community for more than two decades. After witnessing the devastation of 9/11 and seeing a need within his own family, James felt the need to do more.
Having a grandmother who struggled with the maintenance of diabetes, as well as getting proper coordination of care, James was inspired to do more, to be more. James would become not only an insurance agent, but an advocate and an agent of change to educate those he loved the most on the importance of Insurance and how it worked.
The old adage goes, "It not what you know, but who you know." And considering the fact people hate to make the wrong decision, fear sets in and people tend to not make a decision at all. With this in mind, people are being destroyed for a lack of knowledge. James has made it his life's work to educate, assure, and insure all those whom he comes in contact with that are in need and will listen.
James persevered in the insurance industry as an agent with a major carrier for a little over 10 years, but there was still something missing. He did not desire to be just an agent or a sales representative, he wanted to be an advocate, someone people could touch and who would be empathetic to their needs and circumstances.
After an unexpected lay off, James’ vision came to fruition and Family Health Plans of Texas was born.
James’ ultimate desire is to build long lasting relationships, educate all those he comes in contact with, and ensure all persons needing life, health, medical, long -term care, and the various other necessary essential benefits have access to them.
